I'm a new grad interested in international politics, security studies, and foreign policy, who collects flags from all of the unrecognized countries, semi- (or fully) autonomous regions, and more obscure (pun fully intended) countries I make it to. Otherwise it's writing over at Howler Magazine about soccer as an indicator of larger societal, political, cultural, whatever-al forces at play. Anywhere it's suggested I can go to a lower-tier soccer match, or find a some hooligans to interact with, it's done. I'm sold.
