Skull Garden
Albertinia, South Africa
A park decorated with the skulls of African animals, from the small jackal to the gigantic elephant.
The garden route is a popular area in south Africa for those wanting to see wild life of various kinds, as it is lined with wild life parks. However, it’s difficult to see most animals up close, and the skull garden tries to help with that.
Situated in the middle of a small wildlife garden of the garden route game lodge, the garden offers a unique opportunity to stand eye in eye with most African wild life.
Know Before You Go
Access to the garden is free, just tell the guard that you are here to take a look and maybe buy some souvenirs. There is also a hippo pond in the back.
