I was raised by a Doctor, an Artist, and a retired member
of a Top-Secret Special Forces team.
Growing up in Missouri, I rode horses, went to the library, built and destroyed countless inventions in the name of fun, fished the James river, and shot skeet in the backwoods (but I was never much of a hunter).
I enrolled in college at the age of thirteen, applied for a position as Robert Ballard’s research assistant at fourteen (he wrote a lovely note as a response), and found a love for performing and photography somewhere around the same time.
My father always asked when I was going to quit all that “play-acting”… and I suppose I never did.
