I'm an American freelance journalist permanently based in southern Germany, southeast of Munich and also not far from Salzburg and Innsbruck, Austria. I live in a small village in the Bavarian countryside and love and know a lot about Bavarian history, customs, and Bavarian village life. I also give tours to visitors at a large organic farm near my home where they have pigs and chickens, grain crops, and vegetables and where we get most of our food. In my life I have also lived in the US, in France, Italy, and England. I speak English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish. Some fun things I've done in my life: sung in the choir of two operas, worked on an archeological excavation in southern France, taught English in Egypt, volunteered with blind people...
