Retired from DoDDS Overseas Teaching career which was most fulfilling as a teacher. Now live in my simple tea ceremony complex with traditional tea garden, near Bangkok, where I practice tea and invite various guests. I volunteer for 4 associations, 1. The Bangkok National Museum Volunteers, by writing, editing, guiding, lecturing and training new guides and editing for the Thai Fine Arts Department; 2. The Thai Textile Society (founding editor of Newsletter) for which I contribute articles; 3 on the editorial board of the Newsletter of the Southeast Asian Ceramics Museum near my home; 4 have lectured often on Thai Arts and History and the History and Practice of Tea at the renowned Siam Society. Recipient of Thai Cultural Heritage Award from Princess Sirindhorn, before whom I have twice presented my research in Mother-of-Pearl Inlaid lacquer.
